Does YS accept all job/resume listings?
The Job Bank is meant to primarily be a resource for youth ministry and the church or organization with a job opening. Since 1997, the YS Job Bank has been a leader in connecting churches and ministry organizations with youth leaders. We do not limit our Job Bank to youth openings only, we accept listings for openings in children’s ministry, worship, young adult ministry, etc. This includes jobs for both the church and para-church organizations.
What is YS Search?
In short, the YS Job Bank is reactive and YS Search is your proactive option for a job search.
YS Search is designed to help churches find the right personnel for their open job. We pull in all of our experience working with youth pastors and understanding healthy youth ministries to assist our church partnerships that are in the middle of a leadership transition. On the flip-side we also partner with the applicant/candidate as they walk through pursuing these open opportunities.

Does YS verify the validity of churches listing positions, as well as people listing resumes?
YS does not take responsibility for any of the listings or any accuracy of the listings on the Job Bank. We are simply a platform to help people and organizations find and connect with each other. Take time to research more about each opportunity and don’t be afraid to ask for references. YS reserves the right to remove listings.
Does YS ever connect Candidates with Organizations?

Is there a fee to post on the Job Bank?
Not for posting a resume, that’s free! However, listing a job does have a fee.
There are three options available for job listings:
$49 allows your listing to be visible for 30 days. You also have access to browse listed resumes during that 30 day period. Your job listing will be visible and available for the duration of your listing and expires after 30 days.
$79 allows your listing to be visible for 60 days. You also have access to browse listed resumes during that 60 day period.Your job listing will be visible and available for the duration of your listing and expires after 60 days.
$99 allows your listing to featured for 15 days. You also have access to browse listed resumes during that 15 day period. Your job listing will be featured on the homepage and throughout the website in featured areas designed to direct more attention to your specific posting.
What extra features can I add to my job listing?
We’ve tried to keep our job bank as simple as possible, while maintaining it’s effectiveness at being able to connect candidates with open positions. While we had some additional features you could add-on in the past, we’ve simplified the process now.
To receive the featured listing and it’s benefits, be sure to choose the featured listing package when submitting your job listing.
Is the fee for organizations (job listings) and candidates (resumes)?
While listing a job listing does have a fee, posting a resume is free of charge, but you must have a registered account to do either.
Can I submit more than 1 job listing?
Organizations posting job openings can list multiple positions, but not duplicates of the same list. There will be fees associated with each job listing.
If I post a resume, can I also search resumes?
No, posting a resume does not enable resume browsing; you must have an active, paid job listing.
Will YS edit or correct my job posting/resume?
YS does not correct misspellings or errors in listings and we are not responsible for the accuracy or legitimacy of listings. If your listing or resume needs changes, you can login to your account to edit it. YS reserves the right to remove listings.
How long does my job listing stay active?
Job listings will be displayed for either 15, 30 or 60 days, depending on your selection. It can be re-listed upon expiration with a new job listing payment.
Expired resumes will be deleted from the site after 365 days.
How long does my resume stay active?
Unless you delete it, the resume will display on the YS Job Bank for 60 days from the day it was first submitted or last updated. To keep it live, You need to renew/update it within the 60 days in order for it to continue to display.
To update your resume, please login and go to My Account to view your resume listing. Inactive resumes will be deleted from the site after 365 days.
Can I delete my resume?
Yes, you can delete it from your account dashboard.
Is my Job Bank account login the same as my account on YouthSpecialties.com?
No! A Job Bank account is separate from a Youth Specialties login, and you cannot login into the Job Bank from the Youth Specialties website; only from the Job Bank.
I lost my password, how can I reset it?
Visit to Login Page from the main site navigation, and click on the link below the form, “Lost your password?”
