Position: Children’s Ministries Director
Reports To:Lead Pastor
Classification: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Children’s Ministries Director will oversee and provide leadership of all Four Corners programming for children birth through 5thgrade. This primarily consists of Sunday morning programming and also covers other programming outside of Sunday morning. The Children’s Ministries Director will recruit and oversee CM volunteers, select and implement CM curriculum, plan CM programming, and raise up and oversee other CM leaders.  The Children’s Ministries Director will also lead the process as we dream about additional, mid-week CM programming.  Finally, the Children’s Ministries Director will oversee the efforts to link Children’s Ministries with the entire family through specific ministry events as well as targeted training and communication.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

·      Lead all Aspects of the Children’s Ministry
·      Oversee the overall Sunday morning CM programming
·      Recruit, train, and oversee the CM volunteers
·      Select and implement the CM curriculum
·      Raise up, oversee, and empower CM leadership
·      Oversee the CM budget
·      Dream and plan for expanded CM programming outside of Sunday morning
·      Lead Progress towards a more comprehensive Family Ministry

First United Methodist Church of Burnet in the beautiful highland lakes area of the Texas hill country is seeking a gifted leader who is called by God to design and implement a new worship experience intended to reach unchurched younger families in our community. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished musician with the ability to recruit, train, and lead a small volunteer praise-team, and he or she will be able to resource and guide a team of volunteer ministry leaders to lead effective children, youth, and young adult ministries, with an emphasis on middle and high school youth. Children’s Director

We are looking for someone passionate about leading volunteers to create an amazing Children’s ministry!

Areas of Responsibilities:
Reach people to become followers of Christ

Oversight of East Campus Ministry including- systems implementation, commitment to the vision and mission of the Kids ministry, site management, volunteer management, and facility flip.

Develop leaders to become disciple makers as specified in Matthew 28:16-20.

Run a Christ centered children’s ministry Colossians 3:17.

Systems and specific duties:

Create structures within the Children’s ministry so that a team member can flourish and take ownership of the program according to Romans 12:3-8.

Develop and oversee the recruiting, training, and scheduling of volunteers to staff each of the worship service times. Utilize Orange resources for training.

Train your leaders to preach the gospel according to 2 Timothy 4:2.

Ongoing evaluation and implementation of age-appropriate curriculums and activities for both Pre-k and Elementary ministries.

Participate and collaborate with Kids staff on events or programs keeping in line with the church and ministry mission and vision, including Child Dedication, Baptism classes, Trunk Or Treat and other events.

Carefully manage East Campus Pre-k & Elementary budget, oversee and maintain Pre-k & Elementary facility, purchase/replace outdated, worn out items, report areas that need repair, and recommend improvements as needed.

Serve as part of the Kids and Youth team.  Give input into staff meetings as well as Kids and Youth meeting. Meet regularly with supervisor and keep him updated on.

You will report directly to the East Campus Pastor.

The Student Ministries Position:

The role we’re seeking to hire is a Student Ministries Pastor or Director who would be responsible for the leadership and spiritual development of the middle school and high school students connected with Northlake Community Church. Currently our student ministry serves about 50 students during our Sunday services and 30 throughout the week in small groups. Northlake’s student ministry has an excellent and long standing reputation in the Bellingham community. Our hope is to continue that reputation as we seek to lead the next generation to know Jesus and fully live the life God has for them. Being that our current Student Ministries Pastor will remain at Northlake to transition to an Associate Pastor role, we’re searching for a suitable replacement to continue to help our students and families thrive.

Starting salary range is from $40,000-$55,000 depending on education and experience.

The Menlo Kids Director will work to lead an integrated ministry that partners with parents and the broader church family to successfully launch children into a lifetime of faith in Jesus Christ.

Position Responsibilities

  • Implement the Menlo Kids strategy that draws families into the church

  • Oversee weekly weekend ministry experience

Eagle Ranch is currently seeking a Program Assistant to work in our boys’ homes. Position to begin May 2019.
