About Christ Church Macon, GA
We are a vibrant, welcoming faith community of about 700+ members made up of primarily professional people but hoping to include a more diverse representation of the community. The parishioners include a theological diversity within the framework of a Creedal faith found in the Book of Common Prayer. Our Sunday morning worship is liturgical and traditional but there is support for starting a contemporary Sunday evening service. We have a large facility with both formal and informal worship spaces, many classrooms, a large youth room, and fellowship halls. We are in downtown Macon where there is a rapidly growing population of young adults living and working in the downtown area and the downtown is a vibrant community that continues to be revitalized. We have a ministry that feeds the homeless every Saturday and Sunday in the chapel with the support of other faith communities. We are also seeking to continue to develop partnerships in serving the community with other churches in the area.
